Why can't I find my contacts in my address book on the toolbar?

When I go to my address book on my toolbar it comes up empty. If I go to my
comtacts list on my tree to the left it shows all of my contacts. Why doesn't
it pull the contacts to the address book?

That "address book" isn't part of Office.

What version of Outlook? Is the Address Book Service added? Is your
contact folder set to show as an Outlook Address Book?
