why cant I open or save WORD e mail attachments in microsoft works

I put this question forward before and got response from Microsoft with link
to community but this just gave me a blank page. Where do I go now. I think
I'll uninstall Works and replace with WORD

How about telling us what version of Word (XP Vista 2007 etc.) you are
using, what e-mail program you are using and exactly what you are going to
get the blank page? Any error messages?
