why can't I print an html email?

When I attempt to print an individual email, that is in html, I click the
final "print" button and not only does it not go to my spooler, but it tosses
me out of Internet Explorer.

Sorry, ie doesn't enter into it as I mistanenly stated. When I hit the print
button, Outlook Express closes, not IE. I've forwarded the emails to my
office computer and they print fine. If the email message is in html format,
depending up where I print from (file menu or left click the message) I may
get an option of table or memo style (which is unusual). No matter which I
select, when I click "print" it appears to have sent it to the spooler and
then snaps closed as if I'd clicked on the close button.
