Why can't I print some emails that are in HTML ASCII format?

When I (and various other coworkers) attempt to print some emails that are in
HTML ASCII format, the email header is output, but none of the content. We
have ruled out any problems with our printers/drivers.

The emails are either in HTML or plain text (what you are calling ASCII).
Which?

Actually, it says both on the top of the emails. HTML and US ASCII.

At the top? What program do you use for e-mail?
