Why can't I search for Office Updates?

Whenever I try to Search for Office Updates, I get this message halfway
through the Search: "Office Update is unable to check for updates".

I am the administrator for my computer, so it's not that!

You can try reinstalling this...

Sometimes it gets corrupted by other programs...
