why can't i send or receive email with outlook 2007

Why can't I send or receive email within outlook 2007. It does not work. The
send receive option will not even respond in outlook 2007. This was never a
problem with outlook 2003.

Which email account type are you using?
Try resetting your send/receive settings by renaming your srs-file to .old
