why cant i type inmy search box?

I put a search page on my web site, why cant i type in it, when i try it
highlights its self.

Not sure what a browser is, i went online and tried it after i tried while
working in front page neither would allow me to type in the box. The security
box where youu type in your usser name and password came up, like the one
that pops up when you open frontpage, i didnt know what to do so i just
closed it. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you are doing this in FP in Design View?
Are you working in FP live online or locally on your machine?

You need to better explain your problem

Did I hear you say; What's a browser? If you don't know what a browser is
stop using Frontpage until you know a little bit more about the computer
world.
