Why can't I ??

Everywhere I read, I am told I can't remove/hide the 'Favorite Folders' on
the Navigation Pane in Outlook 2003. Why is this? Can anyone dispute this
claim??

Because Microsoft designed it that way on the new navigation panes. The new
Folders List and Shortcuts panes don't have it. Take your pick.

I appreciate your candid answer, Sue.

We get a lot of complaints because that window cannot be hidden. Seems like
a peculiar design choice...
