I am using Entourage 2008 on my Mac PowerBook and all my inbox emails prior to 31st March have disappeared. Does anybody have any idea why and how to stop this happening again. I have checked my Mail List Menu, Junk Mail Functions and Custom Rules - all of which are empty.

Your emails are stored on the server. Your box could have been full or some
schedule deleted them. Check Schedules under Tools in the Menu bar.

If you don't see it in Entourage, log into your account with your web
browser and check your account settings.

Thanks to Diane for your speedy reply but I cannot see anything in Entourage or account settings that lets me change anything to do with my emails. I am using Safari. Even while I have been using Entourage today it has deleted everything in my inbox up to 8th April so in one day it has deleted 8 days worth of emails.

Did you check your Schedules?

BTW, did your account work before or is new behavior?

It sounds like you need some individual help setting up your account.

My mail service deletes messages older than 30 days. That setting can be
changed by the user.

Check with your email service provider to see if the same is true in your
case. You can probably find this information on their web site under "Help"
or "User Support".
