Why do I get a double image when printing using Word 2002

I'm trying to finish a document with embedded pictures. The layout and
display appears fine in the print layout view and in print preview. However,
once I print the document, some of the pictures print as a double image.
Within the embedded picture, the image is cut off and it prints the image
again? It seems to be random throughout the document. Does anyone have any
ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?
