why do i keep getting spam

I recently learned that I can send my spam email to missed-spam.comcast.net.
I began doing that about a month ago, but the level of spam emails has not
decreased. Now instead of deleting the spam, I spend MORE time reporting it
to you only to find it's not decreasing. [email protected] has NOT
made my email anymore "intelligent" than it previously was based on the
enormous amount of spam I keep receiving.
