Why do inserted pictures not appear when page is upleaded?

I insert pictures into a Frontpage document. After it is uploaded, the
pictures do not appear on the web.

Did you import the pictures to a location inside your web "before" you added
them to your pages??
They must exist inside your web in order to be published.
Somewhere else on your hard drive won't work.
