Why do my email replys get stuck in my outbox.

I can send new emails but when I try to reply to a previous email, it goes
straight to my outbox and never sends. I have tried opening the same
messages from the outbox and sending them again but that does not work either.

The original emails from sender are addressed to my yahoo acct.
