Why do my sent messages come back as a delivery (delay)?

Many of my messages that are sent out are coming back later that says that
they have been delayed. What does that mean, and how do I fix it, or what
are some possibilites of what it could be?

It means exactly that. Between you and your recipient are one or more
routers. That router is attempting to send your message to the recipient,
but it can't reach either your recipient's mailbox or a router that knows
how to reach that mailbox. So, it hangs onto the message until it can be
sent. As a courtesy to you, that router has sent you a message telling you
there's a problem.

You can't fix it. It should resolve itself in the near future.
