why do some columns in server timesheet view not populate

I added the duration column, contstraints date column and the % complete
columns to the timesheet view in server 2003, but the fileds are not
populationg. When I look at the projects in project center, the columns are
populated so I know there is data, it just doesn't show up in the tasks area.
