The path to the files may be too long. Try moving the presentation and music
files to C:\Test and then open the presentation, delete the sound files,
re-insert them and test. Does that correct the problem? If not, could you
answer the following questions?
What version of PowerPoint? What type of music files? How are you inserting
them? Do you get any error messages?
Also let us know what happens when you go to Start > Run and type mplay32.exe
and then open your music file and click on the Play icon. Does it play?
