Why does it keep saying Installing?? (WORD 2002)

Sometimes when I run WORD it says "Preparing to installing" It then takes
about 30 seconds before it actually is ready.

Any ideas why that is?

try reinstalling the product and with more features enabled. Maybe yo
didn't install something like dictionary, spellchecking etc
