Why does mail merge only print two of 52 names in my access data..

I open microsoft word 2003,tools,mailmerge,labels,address block,select
recipients
from access 2003 data list. Only one address shoes up in the first box.
Click mail merge. No change. Print and get two addresses to print. The first
one on the list and number 31 on list. Mailing labels hold 30 names. I
have been working with this for two days to no avail. What am I doing wrong?
