why does my group email get returned undeliverable?

I set up a group distribution list, but when I send out an email to this
list, it gets returned undeliverable. What am I doing wrong?

You're posting in the wrong newsgroup -- this one is for Microsoft
Access, the database program. You should probably post your question in
a group that is devoted to the e-mail program you're using.

That said, I can suggest a couple of things for you to look into. First,
when mail comes back undeliverable there's usually an error code and
message explaining why. Have you read the "bounce message" carefully?
Second, is your mail bouncing from everyone, or just from certain
individuals? If it's the former, it may be that your own ISP has
imposed a restriction on how many addresses you can send one message to,
as a way of fighting spam. In that case, you should take the matter up
with your ISP.

If your mail is rejected only bycertain individuals, the problem may be
that you have some wrong e-mail addresses, or it may be that these
individuals' ISPs automatically reject mail that is sent to group-lists
as an anti-spam measure. In that case, you should contact those people
and try to find out what to do about it.
