why does my space bar delete words ive put down?

Ben. yours truly [05]

on microsoft word, why does the space bar sometimes delete a letter if when
pressed when behind that word?

check to see if your system is in Overwrite mode. (the Insert key on your
keyboard is an On/Off toggle for Overwrite mode.) if that doesn't fix the
problem, suggest you post to a Word newsgroup. this newsgroup is devoted to
questions regarding MS Access relational database software.
