Why does my start menu open when I type a forward slash?

Whenever I type a forward slash, whether in a Word document or in my address
bar, it automatically opens my Start menu. This only just started to occur.

Your keyboard has a problem. You will notice that the "Windows key" is
immediately adjacent to the forward slash key. It might be some debris
under the key causing it(try cleaning, shaking upside down, tappin on
end) or the keyboard itself is broken and you should try a different one.

Thank you so much! I thought I had accidentally created a shortcut and
couldn't figure out how to correct it. I should have looked at the Window
key first. Now I see that my forward slash and Window key work
simultaneously. I've shaken the keyboard and "tapped" it pretty hard, and it
still does it; but at least now I can stop wasting my time trying to figure
out how to correct it. Again, thanks.
