Why does "non-commercial use" show up at the top of my screen?

I just installed Office Standard 2007 Upgrade on my compter and each time I
open Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. the text "non-commercial use" shows up. I
thought this was only for the Student or Home editions of Office.

It is so my assumption is that you had a trial version of the HSE software
on your computer. Uninstall all versions of Office and install the upgrade.

For some reason, the Student/Teacher registry entries (A whole bunch of
them) don't always get removed when a full version of Office is installed,
unless you uninstall Student/Teacher first. There are so many entries that
finding the responsible entries is the proverbial needle in haystack
situation.

I too did have the same problem, what you need to do is UNINSTALL all
microsoft office programs, and install you purchase office. The computer has
the preloaded office for trial and it is set up for home and student version,
it accept all product key that is why you must uninstall all office. To be
sure it is uninstall look for the office logo in the uninstall control panel.
I did this and it work on mine computer.
