why does office 07 sp2 require windows xp sp3 and what happens if.

Hello,

We noticed that we can install Office 07 SP2, then uninstall Windows XP SP3
and the office apps seem to still work fine. I'm wondering will we notice
some problems down the road without XP SP3? We had to uninstall SP3 because
of a compatibility issue with one of our apps.

sp3 has only minor
improvements towards
remote assistance and
networking.

so if you have issues
in the future with remote
assistance/desktop and
networking,

then you may need to
install sp3.
