Why Does Office2000 Always Keep Showing Windows Installer ?

Many,Many Times I Get A Popup Window Showing Windows Installer,Asking Please
Insert Disc In "A". Then It Shows Run Time Error( error 1706 Included) There
Is
A Program " Office 2000-SR-1 Premium " In My Computer.
Would Someone Please Tell Me If I Really Need This Program, Or Supply Help
To Correct This Problem ???
