why does Outlook express not identify a .pdf file attachment?

I did some office upgrades and I upgraded to Adobe 7.0. Now when I get an
attachment that is a .PDF I get that is is an unknown file type.

If I save the file and try to open it, it opens right up.

Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer not Office.

If you have not upgraded Acrobat 7.0 to 7.0.1, open Acrobat and go to Help,
Check for Updates. The update may or may not fix your specific problem.

If not, you may want to post to a Outlook Express newsgroup.
