Why does Outlook occasionally cancel a download, leaving email on.

Running the latest Outlook email client against a Linux email server.

Occasionally (few times a week), Outlook fails in a download and leaves all
emails on the server. Repeats until at the next download time until I log in
and delete the emails directly.

Looks like a (junk) email is trashed.

How can I get Outlook to continue downloading the rest of the email and skip
the bad email message?
