Why does Word crash when I copy and paste from Yahoo?

Every single time, unless I use "Paste Special" and paste unformatted text.
This is absolutely ridiculous!

It is a security measure to stop malicious hidden code being pasted into
Word (though it shouldn't crash Word: it usually just pauses for a minute or
so). In other Words, it has close a security breach. Use Paste Special,
Unformatted text.

Thank you. That makes sense, but I wish there was some sort of back
end/invisibly engineered solution. When you're working quickly between
several different applications, you don't always remember that Word requires
the Paste Special step. And it does completly crash Word in my case. It
reopens later with the recovered document(s).

I agree that it is a rather quick and dirty solution. Hopefully there will
be a better security solution in a later monthly update.
