Why does Word re-install every time.

For reasons beyond my control (proprietary software issues), I must run both
Word 2003 and Word 2007 on my computer. Whenever I switch back and forth,
e.g. like when I have been running 2007 and go back to 2003 or vice versa,
the program has to run the initial instalation setup which takes time and is
annoying. If there is any way I can get rid of that, I would love to find out.

Anyone have any ideas?????????

I have the same problem but have yet to find a workaround or fix. This is
apparently a bug that was introduced with the final release--the betas did
not have it.

Can you not use the proprietary software with 2007? Have you tried reducing
Word 2007's security level (in Word Options/Trust Center)? That might allow
the software in question to run with 2007.
