Why doesn't outlook remember recent addresses that I have sent to

Hi,
Outlook XP is not remembering all of the e-mail addresses that I have sent
to. It does remember some, but not all of them. Any Help would be
appreciated.

There is a limit of 1,000 addresses in the autocompletion cache.

So, is there a way to edit the cache, or clear it? It's on a roaming profile
and the profile has been around for quite some time.

There is a commercial product that gives you complete control over the
autocomplete cache, but I don't recall its name. Information about it has
been posted in the Outlook groups many times, though, so Google can help you
find it.

The standard methods are to find and delete the .NK2 file to clear the
entire cache (it's in the hidden folder
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook) or to use the arrow keys to advance tot he
entry you don't want and press Delete.
