Why doesn't the office 2003 installer let you pick the drive you .

(1.) during office 2003 installation you have an option of deleting the
installation files. if you keep them, then it places an MSO Cache folder on
of your hard drives.

you should be able to designate where these files are placed. had to move
mine under the standard program files/microsoft/office directory and then use
regedit to change the file path name to the folder.

(2.) what are the MSO Cache folder files used for and why should you keep
them online?
