Why doesn't the top of doc show???

I have always viewed my documents in page layout (for
obvious reasons). I have just upgraded to Word2003 and
whenever I start a new document, the top part of the
document (where the header is) never displays
automatically. The scroll bar on the right hand side
infers I am at the top of the page, but I am not. I am
having to do Alt+V+H (display header) just to get the area
visible. When I hide the header again, it displays the way
it should. This is infuriating. I can't see any setting
under the Options>View tab that controls this.
Can someone help me before I blow up.

Deanna,

The setting is Tools>Options>View>Print and Web Layout Options>White space
between pages.

Ooooooohh, you little beauty!!!! Thank you!! It's not
like we get a list of the changes is it (or the time to
read it) and the Helpdesk wanted to charge me NZ$35 just
to ask. This is a great forum for help.
Thanks Greg.

This is not an intended change, it is an unfortunate consequence of careless
clicking on the word workspace between the pages of the document. You will
find this problem returns from time to time :)
