why don't hyperlinks work in dynamic web template

I'm building a dynamic web template and have created some hyperlinks. When I
use Cntrl + click in design view it takes me to the page I want. But when I
go to Preview mode the hyperlink doesn't work. To complicate things out of
the 6 hyperlinks on my page, 4 do work when I go to preview mode. Any ideas?
