Why has Word changed my code?

I created some simple code in a document that just displays some text
depending on what option buttons are selected. I then copied the document to
another PC in the office but the code wouldn't work. When I examined it on
the other PC it seems that some of the names that I gave the option buttons
are now given to labels and text boxes and vice versa. i.e. all of the
object names seem to have been randomly changed and mixed up. Any ideas why
this has happened?

My first suspicion is that some or all the code is not actually saved in the
document, but rather in your normal.dot template.
