Why have all my TIFFs turned black in my program?

My Powerpoint program is all images. They were originally images taken on my
Nikon D100 as raw (NEF) images. I changed them to TIF and loaded them in my
program. Load fine, but when I go to call up the program, it opens and all
the images have turned to black, so weird.

If it was me I'd save the images to either PNG or JPGs. Also if the intended
use is "on-screen" or projected.... I'd make sure the pixel count was about
1000 pixels wide.
