why have i got 2 archive folders?

I've been auto archiving for about 6months now with no problems. Always been
able to find the things i'm looking for whe i go back into them. But suddenly
I've got 2 archive folders which have both got sections of my emails in. It's
really frustrating as i have difficulty locating emails now a i have 2 lots
of folders to look through, I also have to search to find newly archived
emails as they seem to be rendomly assigned to the different archive folders!
Help!!
Is there a way i can merge them back together?

Check the properties of each of your folders and see if their auto-archive
properties point to a different archive PST. If so, make them all point to
the same place then merge the contents of the 'bad' archive into the one
file you want to use (drag/drop the items)

Hi, I have the same problem but when i try to drag and drop the program will
not allow it. Any thoughts
