Why having to re-enter password so much?

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

In once of my accounts, in the SMTP server advanced sending, I have my verizon password in there. It stick ok for a few days, week, then Entourage deletes it or something and I have to re-enter it. why is this happening?? thanks.

Try running Keychain First Aid and see if that helps. It seems to be a
common problem with the Apple Keychain.
