Why is it so hard to add contacts in Outlook?

In OE when I received an email I could just right-click on it and instantly
add them to my "Contacts" list. In Outlook, for some inexplicable reason,
you cannot do this. Is there something here I am missing or does this all
have to be done manually?

Also, is there a better way to have the contacts list display? I want to be
able to see the email address but the only options are "Address cards" which
is illogically laid out and awkward to try and find someone. Makes ya wonder
if the programmers ever try these programs out themselves.If they did they
would probably be much more user friendly.

Russ, when I Right-Click I do not have an option for "Add to address book".

No "Add to Contacts" upon Right-Click.

This is what I have when rt clicking:

Print
Reply
Reply To All
Forward
Follow up
Mark as read
Categories
Find all
Create rule
Junk email
Delete
Move to folder
Options

You should right-click on the name and e-mail address of the sender on a
Reading Pane instead of the list of headers.
Then an option of Add to Outlook contacts would be available for you to add
the e-mail and the name to your Outlook Contacts.

No "Add to Contacts" upon Right-Click.
