why is my document all squares

Mystified

I have 5 Word documents that all of the text has suddenly turned to squares.
Can anyone please help me.

Sounds like you have deleted the font that was used for these documents.
Make copies in Windows Explorer, open in Word; use CTRL+A to select all and
change the font (the font list will include only fonts you have installed)
