Why is my document printing with white space on the right side?

My hard drive recently deep fried itself and unfortunately, my back up discs
were damaged. I purchased a new laptop that is running Vista and have
installed Microsoft 2007 which I have never used before. I am a stationary
designer so the loss of my back up discs was pretty close to devistating as I
had all my designs on them. I am attempting to re-create my designs using
Microsoft Word 2007 and I cannot even begin to tell you how frustrating it
has been. I have been using words that have made the potted plants on my
office window sill explode into flames.

My current issue is in my two-card design which is basically a template for
two fold-over cards per page. The orientation is horizontal and I've set all
the margins at "0." I insert two graphics, side-by-side and sometimes the
nature of the grapic I use, is such that it will go to the edge of the page.

My current printer does not have the ability to print edge-to-edge so when I
do the cards I compensate for the fact that the printer can only print to
about .25" from the edge of the page. However, all of my pages are now
printing with about a .5" area of white space down the right-hand side of the
page. I've tried adjusting the margins, auto-positioning the grapic,
checking the printer options--nothing works. No matter what I fiddle with,
the card comes out with a .5" border.

Does anyone out there have idea what could be causing this and how I can fix
it?
