Why is my product key number not registering?

Hello! I have purchased a new computer and when I try downloading microsoft
word it prompts me to enter my product key number/code. However it will not
accept it. Could you please advise. Thanks

software. suggest you contact either the seller, or Microsoft directly, for
assistance, or at least post to a Word newsgroup.
