If you click on File | Print, in the "Print what:" box, does it say "Document
showing markup"? If yes, then change it to "Document".

Hi Garfield, I checked the print and the "print what showed document" Some
more info, I am now using a new laptop, with windows XP. I had copied the
file from my old computer using windows ME. On my old computer there were no
problems. Does this help pinpoint the problem?

Thanks Suzanne, I did not realise I had posted twice. I do not have any
hidden characters, but the page I am trying to print has a border inserted as
a picture. This worked ok on my old computert (see reply to garfield-n-odie)

Hi, Colin. How much of the right and bottom of the page are missing? Are we
talking about half an inch, or two inches?

If it's more like half an inch, then it's probably because the Windows XP
printer driver for your printer can't print as close to the edge of the page
as you have positioned the border. You might not have had this problem in
Windows ME because Windows XP uses a different printer driver for your
printer than did Windows ME. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/BottomsDontPrint.htm for more details.

If it's more like two inches, then I think it's still an issue with tracked
changes. Display the Reviewing toolbar by clicking on View | Toolbars |
Reviewing, and click on "Accept All Tracked Changes in Document".

Hi Garfield. I was missing about half inch right and bottom. Your http link
to Suzanne and Davids article, has helped. I can now print the page as I
want, by adjusting the margins, and using fit to page printing. My printer
was recognised ok.
Thanks for your help.
