Why is Project Pro 2007 tyring to save the Global.mpt to the C dri

When one of the PM's tries to close MSP2k7 Pro, he is prompted to save the
Global.mpt to his c: drive everytim. He just selects cancel and goes on but
it is annoying.

It may have started happening after we loaded SP1 on his laptop. What is the
fix?
