Why is signature show as double spaced?

Does anyone know why my signature shows up as double
spaced and how to stop that?

You used a hard return (the enter key) in your email stationary. You must
be using HTML and a hard return is a paragraph return. Edit your stationary
and use the SHIFT | RETURN to create a single space return.
