Why microsoft will probably lose me as customer permanently

Is there some reason that every time I turn around one of
my Microsoft products has some major problem? Why should I
have to become a computer expert in order to resolve the
security issues in your products (which seem to be
released before they are market ready.) I have a small
business and frankly, can no longer afford to have Excel
or Internet Explorer or the program of the day stop
functioning. I am actively looking for a new computer
anyway. So even though it will be extremely costly for me,
to do a non-PC solution because of the other computer
programs I run, I am as of today searching for Non-
Microsoft related computer products. I've had it.

I should not have to search thorugh page after page of
tech-babble to find a soltion to my problems. I would
gladly pay for phone support if I have to, but if it takes
me half an hour to figure out where to call you've lost
me.

When I have to devote the large part of my day figuring
out why I can't even open Excel, which contains all my
finacials and is not a free program, your company is
taking advantage of me.

I seem to have major problems with my computer every time
I "upgrade" Internet Explorer due to some security issue
on your end. This is grossly unfair and indicates
extremely poor business practices.

Do you have any answers? Is it possible to share them
with a customer?

Hi, Chris,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having so many problems. This newsgroup can
be a good place to vent, but you should be aware that it's staffed by
volunteers who are providing peer support; not Microsoft employees. If you
want to register a formal complaint, you should probably take the time to
write a letter to Microsoft Corporation.

In the mean time, have you posted your technical problems to the appropriate
newsgroup to try to get peer support? This newsgroup is for issues related
to the Office Update features. Have you had no luck in the Internet
Explorer or Excel newsgroups getting support?
