why my email icon does not work in the interenet explorer browser

Please help me with outlook 2003 email i

I cannot turn on my email even I have added the email icon in my internet
explorer browser. I am using Oulook 2003

Hi,

I take it you have opened the e-mail you require to edit? Then select edit,
then edit message?

If you have opened the e-mail while trying to edit the message is the option
just greyed out or not there at all?
