My friend send a ppt design for powerpoint 2000, why I could not open the ppt
in powerpoint2003?

notes: the ppt could open in powerpoint2000.

In PPT2003 choose Help, Check for Updates. Apply the recommended SP1 for
Office 2003. That should fix the problem.

By the way, you're in the Mac newsgroup but you have Windows versions of PPT.
You want the Public.PowerPoint newsgroup.
