Why new email arrives with strikeout?

When I receive e-mail to my inbox it comes with a strikeout and will be
deleted if I purge my e-mail. I must go through all of my mail and save them.
It worked fine for years until yesterday.

Looks like you have a rule that deletes some messages.

Either you have a rule that is doing it or you have some add-in llike an
antispam scanner doing it.
