Why outlook stops refreshing after the first send/receive?

After the first time doing Send/receive command, the outlook never refresh
again... I've to shutdown the outlook's window and open it again to make it
doing the refresh....
What's worst is that not even the F5 button applies the Refresh... :(

F5 does not do a Send/Receive. Try F9. What is your polling time ("Check for
new messages every ___ minutes") set to?
