Why scroll excel XP spreadsheet is so slow

it is so difficult to scroll through a spreadsheet with datacell (20cols x
3000rows), very very slow, any user know what the problem is?

my system:

chinese winxp pro (updated to sp1)
chinese officexp (updated to sp2 + all patchs)
file is about 2mb..

it is so strange that open the same file in "english winxp pro+english
officexp" is scrolling very smooth....

i don't know why.... pls help me.....
