Why will my thumbnail not open?

I am creating a thumbnail using the "Auto Thumbnail" command from the pull
down menu when I right click on my JPEG photo. I then save everything. When
I click on the thumbnail to open the original picture, it gives me the
following error message:

Cannot open file. There was an error when trying to run MyPicture.JPG

What am I doing wrong???? Thank you.

Are you on a Unix server (CaSe Sensitive)
- try renaming all files/links to lower case

Stephen,

Thank you for the support, but, no, I am not on a server at all. I am just
on my computer using FrontPage 2002, on the WindowsXP Professional platform.
I upload my pages to a Web Hosting Site.

I did go in and try changing my photo names to all lower case, just to see
if that helped, but I am still receiving the same error message.

I also noticed your note about using the "F1 Key". I will try that now, as
my "previously learned knowledge" often leaves me if I don't use it on a
daily basis. Thank you so much for the little reminder. That is a GREAT
IDEA to put it as a Signature note. I have only been using the Help and
searching the Knowledge Base for an answer.

Any other thoughts???

Sincerely,
IJ

It's Fixed! First I want to thank those who took the time to read and answer
my post. I tried everything that everyone suggested to no avail. Then,
looking at the entire help menu "pull down" to try to get an answer, I
noticed the tab: Auto Fix Program. Then I remembered that I had recently
downloaded several updates from the MS Office site for this version. Could
something not have integrated? I then clicked the Auto Fix button and
proceeded. Once done, I tried creating my thumbnail. Whola! To my surprise
it worked beautifully! I now have an entire series of thumbnails created and
can show off my beautiful hand created creations! And, after a few more
photographs are taken by the photographer, I can publish my page. Thank you
all so very much for your support. I probably wouldn't even have thought
about this if we didn't have a "team effort" to help my thought process. I
wish for you both, Peace, Hope, Love and Joy in all of your works and in your
life.

Gratefully,
IJ
